Highly recommend placing your Grab order as soon as you get off the train. The traffic outside can be chaotic, and there are always tons of people waiting for rides at the front. Saves you a lot of stress and waiting time!

First time taking train in Malaysia through Ipoh train station,which is at the heart of Ipoh city Centre. I love the historic built of the place. Improvement could be made on hygiene and building conservation.

Beautiful building and well maintained from the outside. However the waiting room is very small and there were not enough seating.

Old train stations but preserved quite well. For those who are looking for locker/ luggage storage, yes they have. Located on the left wing near the prayer room. Costs RM10 for big locker and RM5 for small locker. Need to change your money into token, no change money.

Great to be back here again after away for so many years...thanks to COVID. A very smooth train ride from KL. Always a busy train station and credit to KTM for the very clean coaches and station. Love the heritage look & feel of the.

Historical railway station. Always nice and clean. Quite spacious and easy to get a seat. Organized area for pick up and drop off. Always nice traveling through Ipoh Railway Station.

It was a smooth and quiet ride and the seats (platinum) were fairly comfortable. It doesn't indicate on the ticket itself which platform's train to board so do ask the staff if you aren't sure.

It is a grand looking station. The landscaping outside is well maintained and there is a small World War Two memorial in one corner to commemorate the war death. The station itself looks crammed when there are passengers waiting to board.

Beautiful train station but very poor maintaining toilet. Toilet without toilet seat!!!
