I’ve been coming to Jaya Grocer regularly, and the recent renovation has made a big difference. The space feels more open and less crowded, making shopping more pleasant and relaxed compared to before.

This is as close as one gets in Ipoh to European style supermarket. Range of products is still rather limited though. Very glad to be able to find genuine and reasonably good freshly baked bread here - not the sugar ladened pillowy stuff

I do my monthly grocery shopping here. But each time I go, there is 1 particular security guard which follows me throughout the entire shop. Since my bill usually range 500-800 MYR, I only go to counters with staff. I don't do self check out. I don’t have a photo of the security guard. But maybe if i look suspicious to you, you can check my purchases match to the receipt (like in aeon). I usually shop alone, so to be trailed around by the security guard itself is not a pleasant feeling. So far, it has happened 8x in Ipoh parade outlet.. now i feel safer going to Aeon.

Great shopping place for groceries and household items. Love the ambiance here. It is located at the underground level of Ipoh Parade building. Easy to access but you might find difficult to park during peak hours. Safety and hygiene

This place makes me feel like I am back to Sydney. Having stayed there for over three years, it sure makes me want to weep seeing Coles products being sold here. What a pleasant surprise!

A lot of stuff from other countries I could buy but the price is expensive. The quality is always good and fresh so you don't have to worry. the place is clean and doesn't have any weird smell or loud music.
