Update 5/8/2025: lamb cumin not nice. Nice chunks of meat given, but lacks flavour. A drizzle of soy sauce would've done wonders. Look, talk about a niche market. From the great minds that brought us meat pies (probably), hey meat scones! Jipinhe (pronounced jee-pin-hey) produces savoury meat fillings in a crispy doughy shell, that'll sell by the bucketloads! The idea seems like it belongs in a night market or food fair, but here we are in the middle of a mall. The scones are available in a variety of fillings (New Orleans chicken, Cumin lamb etc.) ranging from RM9 to RM11. I ordered the shrimp and chicken thigh because surf and turf sounds appealing. The shell is crispy and flaky, while the fillings are hot, savoury, and plentiful. They're actually very well-made. It's like an upgraded char siew bao, with more variety. They're not cheap but certainly delicious and very presentable. A set of a meat scone and a drink will set you back RM14.90. I'm just wondering how a super niche product is sustainable over time. Maybe I'll be proven wrong eventually. People like comfort food after all. ***Beware: tons of fake/bought reviews for this outlet to bump up the score. Concensus is, not bad, but in no way is this overwhelmingly 5 stars as the ratings suggest.***.

Food is good, but maybe the staff can be more friendly and approachable. We just ask regarding the food and promotion, maybe can introduce in a more polite ways since it's our 1st time buying.
